I MADE A(nother) GAME!! This time in Twine! With many thanks to @EmergencyBattle for help figuring out some Twine Things!
You can download the game to play it natively Here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i0Fs43_dNvy75nlBJxDoHf-7LQ6SZgmc/view?usp=sharing
Because it's a Twine game, it plays in-browser and as such works better as a downloadable html file. Though it looks like words, download and play it - it's a game!
The game *is* horror-adjacent so don't play if you don't like spooks!

So, I'm thinking I might start trying to learn some basic 3D modeling.
I really enjoy creating 3D environments in games like Minecraft, but it often feels too limited for my purposes.
It's daunting to think about *really* getting into this, especially since I have so many other things I want to learn as a #GameDev . But I'd love to just be able to make environments with full creative freedom. Not to mention, as a game dev, it's obviously a really useful skill to have.
Hello, everyone! Issue #266 of my #gamedev newsletter is here, with talk of layoffs and closures in the game industry, classic games being remade, archived or simply remembered, and some vague plans for the near future. Enjoy! https://notimetoplay.org/blog/weekly-links-266-good-business-bad-business.html
#gamedev before I code something I don't write psudocode, I write "ah fuck how do I do this" in the comments
